Avatar 2: Stephen Lang and Sam Worthington returns to the franchise

It is a sequel to the 2009 global phenomenon. And, it’s true. The sequel to Avatar has been announced by the producers. And, they have taken a step forward by announcing the preliminary cast front.

Stephen Lang, who played Colonel Quaritch in the first film, is set to reprise his role in the upcoming sequels coming back to life. Though he supposedly met his end, the director has plans to get him back in the sequels.

Sam Worthington is also expected to return to the franchise. He recently announced that filming with start from next October.other rumored takes in the cast include Zoe Saldana and Sigourney Weaver as Neyitri and Grace Augustine respectively.

Cameron has announced that he will release the sequels between 2016 and 2018. Cameron has tapped Josh Friedman to pen the screenplay of the sequel. And, the film supposedly will be hitting big screen in December 2016.
