The continuation of the saga created by George Lucas – Star Wars : Episode VII is back in the game. As the pre-production is in talks, J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan took over the screenplay and scripting part.
Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy made an official statement saying, “I am very excited about the story we have in place and thrilled to have Larry and J.J. working on the script.”
Abrams has been credited as a writer on two of his previous directorial outings, Mission: Impossible III and Super 8. And, this time he replaced Michael Arndt (who scripted Toy Story 3). Kasdan has been the part of the previous two parts of Star Wars also. (Star Wars V and VI)
With Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher rumored to be featured in this installment, the world waits for a titillating screenplay from the duo.
