Shah Rukh Khan pranks badly on Comedy Nights With Kapil!

Comedy Nights With Kapil, the popular weekend show that has been known for its highly dysfunctional yet hilarious family and soaring TRPs has always gained prominence for Bollywood’s A-Listers as a powerful platform to promote their filmy ventures. While most celebrities make an appearance on the sets of Comedy Nights With Kapil with the sole aim of film promotions, King Khan admits that promoting his upcoming venture is only an excuse for him! Shah Rukh Khan who recently visited the sets of Comedy Nights With Kapil, revealed that the reason he liked visiting this quirky family was because it helped him ease the tension of promotions! Shah Rukh Khan was accompanied by the Happy New Year director Farah Khan and its cast comprising of Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah.

The episode took an even funnier turn when Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Farah Khan teamed up with Kapil to pull off a successful prank on Chandan, ‘Raju’ of Comedy Nights With Kapil and Kapil’s good friend. Kapil requested Chandan, who is an ardent fan of Shah Rukh’s, to mimic the great Khan because according to Kapil, Chandan mimicked him really well. Once Chandan was done with his mimicry, instead of expecting praises, he was left horrified to see Shah Rukh, Farah and Abhishek upset. It just didn’t end there. King Khan took the prank a notch higher as got up from his seat in a huff and yelled at a stone cold Chandan echoing his anger as the audience now observed pin drop silence.

While Sunil Grover aka Gutthi was seen in the garb of ‘Seepika’, an upcoming actress who would be launched by ‘Faroj Khan’, Palak aka Kiku Sharda dressed up as Faroj Khan. Faroj and Farah also had a face-off dance contest, which culminated into a catfight. All in all, this episode of Comedy Nights With Kapil promises to complete your weekend with your medicinal dose of laughter!
