‘It feels as if I was never away from the team of The Kapil Sharma Show’ -Upasana Singh

Its homecoming for television’s favourite comedian, Upasana Singh. The extremely talented actor who made the audience roll on the floor laughing with her hilarious antics is all set to join the cast of The Kapil Sharma Show. While the entire team of Kapil is thrilled to have her on board, Upasana too is overwhelmed with the warm welcome she received on the first day of shoot.

Sharing her excitement, Upasana said, “Yes, I have started shooting with the team and I can’t tell you how happy I am. It is like coming back home. When I walked in, the entire team rushed to me and there were hugs all around. I felt so loved and wanted as everybody was happy that I am back. Honestly, it felt as though I was never away. I have worked with the team for almost two-and-a-half years and we are friends and they understand me. The team is highly professional and everything is written in advance and I get time to prepare well. There was no sense of discomfort as everyone made me feel so welcome. The Kapil Sharma Show has genuine comedy and I am extremely happy to be a part of it.”

Also joining the team will be Naseem who will play the role of a producer, Vicky  and Upasana will be seen playing his wife. They will be Kappu’s new neighbours in Shantivan Non-cooperative Housing Society. Upasana’s character will be that of a wannabe actress who married Vicky in the greed of wanting to get into films but he never made one.
