Actor-director Kamal Haasan’s recent controversial film Vishwaroopam collected over 100 crore at the Indian box office and is looking for staggering 200 crore marks from worldwide collections.
Vishwaroopam crosed lots of hurdle before its release. Vishwaroopam, which was cleared by the censor board, ran into deep trouble in Tamil Nadu when Muslim groups strongly objected its release in the state. The Tamil Nadu government had banned the release of Vishwaroopam in fear of law and order issue. Kamal Haasan Knocked the door of Madras High Court, but the court upheld the order and advised Hasaan to sort the problem by talking to parties concerned.
Vishwaroopam controversy ends at last when the actor-director agrees to delete ‘seven objectionable scenes’ in the movie after marathon meetings with Muslim groups and government.
Delighted Haasan already announced sequel of “Vishwaroopam”.
