Pooja Bhatt’s Jism 2 is a dark, aesthetically sexy film which surprisingly has a script. Though at times the script is weak and boring but still at the end Jism 2 is a watchable movie and remains as the much-hyped debut of Sunny Leone.
Mahesh Bhatt’s clichéd story is highly influenced by sex and filled with ambiguity. Intelligence Bureau officer Ayaan (Arunoday Singh) and his superior officer Guru (Arif Zakaria) hires porn star Izna (Sunny Leone) to tackle cop-turned-assassin Kabir Wilson (Randeep Hooda). She was taken to Galle in Sri Lanka to complete the task. Izna agrees because of her own reasons. She wants to teach Kabir a lesson because Kabir vanished from her life suddenly after small ecstatic love affair. Pretending to be Ayaan’s fiancé, Izna moves next door to Kabir, and start her seductive work to woo Kabir. Kabir who finds her irresistible, jumps in her ploy and restart their old ‘karma’. And Ayaan, he falls in love with Izna too.
Mahesh Bhatt’s script is very weak and there is not much story into it. However it gives every opportunity to Sunny Leone to do what she does best, to show off her skin.
Randeep Hooda is excellent. Arunoday Singh’s acting was good. As for Sunny Leone, she can barely act but she satisfies in terms of the skin show. Arif Zakaria was a waste.
The cinematography by Nigam Bomzan was outstanding. The music of Jism 2 is melodious and the credit goes to debutant music director Arko Provo Mukherjee, Mithoon Sharma and Vicky Goswami.
If you want to see Sunny’s strip acting then the movie will not disappoint you, however one should not expect a great script out of it.
