Garrett Hedlund Roped In To Play Captain Hook

There have been many speculations regarding the characterization of Captain Hook. And, after many days of reading actors – Joe Wright and Warner Bros. have roped in Garrett Hedlund to play Captain Hook in the movie Pan.

Pan is basically based on the tale of the origin of Peter Pan. Hugh Jackman is already in talks to play the main villain Blackbeard. Although the casting of Pan is to be yet to finalized, the buzz is that an open casting event would be arranged to sort that out. It will be acted by a boy between 10 to 12 years of age.

The movie is helmed by Joe Wright. It is scripted by Jason Fuchs. The movie is scheduled for a release on 17^th July 2015.
