Jay Leno has finally said good bye to the famous “The Tonight Show” on Thursday night.
With tears, the iconic comedian concluded his last show which as he said ‘‘greatest 22 years of my life’’.
”You’re very kind,” he addressed audience, adding, ”I don’t like goodbyes. NBC does.”
The 63-year-old Leno is with “Tonight Show” for tha last 22 years. Now NBC is going to hand over the show to possibly Jimmy Fallon. Earlier Leno left the show to Conan O’Brien in 2009 but NBC had to bring back the comedy king in 2010.
Oscar winning actress Sandra Bullock appeared on Leno’s second to last show and thanked him for his generosity.
“You were always so welcoming and every single person on your crew was that way consistently, and I just felt special even when I felt very insecure. And everyone, I think, in this room and in this country, has felt that every day that you’ve been in their homes,” Bullock said.
