- TRAILER RELEASES
This year’s most awaited film Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s trailer was finally out last week. Needless to say, it garnered more than million in less than 24 hours, given the buzz it had built over last few months. Salman can be seen playing the character of Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi and his ladylove Rasika’s character is being played by Kareena Kapoor, also, another pivotal part of this story is a little girl, played by Harshaali Malhotra. Trailer went so viral, that it was trending on twitter with hashtag #IncredibleBajrangiBhaijaan. No doubt, movie is going to be a blockbuster of this year.
Bollywood`s ‘queen’ who is still basking in the glory of her previous back-to-back successes, is all set to woo audiences with yet another quirky film. Katti Batti is a different take on love, showing Kangana in the role of Payal who believes in timepass love whereas Imran Khan is Madhav, who is all serious relationship types. The trailer even warns that this is ‘not a love story’. But let us see what it shows as it releases on September 18.
- NOW, PARINEETI TO TURN SINGER
We have quite many actresses in Bollywood who perform dual roles- that of an actor and a singer. While Shraddha Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra have proved how very well they sing, Parineeti Chopra, too, is to record a song by the end of this year. Talking about the same, she said, “I am a great singer and have been waiting to record my first single. I even told Vaibhavi Merchant that I want to be a part of her hit musical, Taj Express. I love being on stage and will hopefully be recording my first song this year. It will not be a pop, jazz or rock number but a Burlesque-style single. Being on Broadway is my ultimate dream and my single could be a step towards it.” We are glad to know that these actresses are not limiting themselves and giving their best to this entertainment industry.
- KAREENA TO ATTEND SHAHID’S WEDDING IF INVITED
When an ex-flame is getting married, Bollywood gets a good chance to cook a controversy out of it. Same happened here. In a PTI conference, when Kareena was asked if she intends to attend Shahid`s wedding on being invited, she said, “Yes, I would.” From this reply of hers, it seems that both of them who dated each other in past for 3 years have come to friendship terms now. In another media interaction, she even confessed that Shahid told her about the wedding even before media. She said,
“Both of us were performing at a Femina event. We chatted. So he actually told me about him getting married before he told the media. I’m very happy for him. He’s doing very well professionally… I haven’t seen Haider yet, but my sister saw it and loved it. And I can vouch for marriage being cool. I’d just like to wish him well.” It is good to see two of them together as friends rather than carrying old memories.
