The Lunchbox: Irrfan Starrer to release this Friday

This September 20th, another movie that is hitting theaters is The Lunchbox. The Indian drama revolves around a quirky plot – a mistaken delivery of a Mumbai Dabbawala leads to a relationship between a weary Government employee and an unhappy housewife. The unlikely romance rustles up a redolent cinematic magic as per the reviews of many pre-release reviews.

Lately, the trailers of the movie was featuring a song from the 90s movie Sajaan by Kumar Sanu – reminiscing the unaltered sentimentality of that era.

Starred by the veteran actor Irrfan Khan, Nimraut Kaur and Nawazuddin Siddiqui – the movie is directed by the Ritesh Batra. With a few short films in his kitty – this is Ritesh’s debut in feature film.

Along with the colorful Phata Poster Nikla Hero – it is a perk to see where is sensible movie stands in competition.
