Lootera starts with average business at box-office

Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha’s latest romantic saga ‘Lootera’ had an average business at the box office in its first weekend. Despite rave reviews by critics and cine goers, the film only managed to collect Rs 20 Crores in the domestic box office.

 However Lootera is picking up slowly and according to trade analysts the film may get its major break in the first week due to positive word of mouth from public.

The film opened with Rs 5.15 crore on Friday. On Saturday the film collected around 6.5 crore and on Sunday the film collected around 8.35 crore.

Lootera is Vikramaditya Motwane’s second directorial film after his award-winning debut film ‘Udaan’.
