Don 2 Box Office Collection In Opening Weekend Crosses Rs 48.39 Crore

Director Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 2’ is going to be a super hit as per the initial box office collection shows. Market analysts confirmed that ‘Don2’ collects Rs 48.39 crore net  in its opening weekend. It got 15.3 crore on Friday, 15.09 crore on Saturday and smashing 18 crore on Sunday.

Also the movie is doing well in the multiplexes than the small centres.

The best news for SRK is that ‘Don 2’ beats ‘Bodyguard’  in terms of highest single day gross earning for a Hindi film in Australia with estimated earnings of US$82,000 on Friday. Salman’s  ‘Bodyguard’ earlier collected at US$74,000. ‘Don 2’, also earned $550,000 in North America, surpassing ‘My Name is Khan’ opening day gross of $445,000.

Farhan Akhtar’s dream project ‘Don 2’, starring Shah Rukh Khan,  Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani, Kunal Kapoor and Lara Dutta hits the market last Friday and Bollywood is upbeat that it will end the year with a superhit note.
