- Updates On Shahid Kapoor’s Wedding
Now, the only thing which can stop all Bollywood followers from speculating about heartthrob Shahid is his wedding itself. Media hasn`t stopped discussing it since the news of his wedding got leaked. New updates say that not of one, but Shahid is to receive blessings of three of his mothers. One is Shahid`s step mother and current wife of veteran actor Pankaj Kapoor, Supriya Pathak Kapoor. Second is Neelima Azim, Shahid`s biological mother. Rajesh Khattar, to whom Neelima was earlier married, too, is going to attend the ceremony; so is his present wife Vandana Sajnani. All three ladies care for Shahid and are in fact, personally overseeing the wedding preparations. Also, the wedding is no more going to take place in Greece, instead, it will be held near Beas River in Amritsar itself on July 7. It will be followed by a reception on July 12 in Mumbai`s upscale hotel where all who`s who of Bollywood are said to be invited including Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra, with whom Shahid is said to have had relationships in past.
- Katrina Bags A Big Opportunity
Katrina Kaif will soon be starring alongside action superstar Jackie Chan in upcoming film Kung Fu Yoga which will be directed by Hong Kong based filmmaker Stanley Tong. An action-adventure thriller, it will show Kat playing the role of an Indian professor at a Chinese University, from whom Chinese archaeologist played by Chan seeks help to unravel treasures of Magadha era. Kat will be seen performing lots of action scenes, which she had portrayed in Ek tha Tiger earlier.
- Kangana Signs A Biopic
If buzz is to be believed, according to Bollywoodlife.com reports, Kangana signed Ketan Mehta`s biopic on India`s fierce warrior, Rani Laxmi Bai aka Jhansi ki Rani. She will have to undergo sword fight and horse riding training sessions. Being a hard-working actress that she is, we are sure she will carry that role efficiently and flawlessly!
- Sarabjit Singh Biopic’s Lead Finalised
Few days ago, news of Irrfan Khan being finalized for the role of Sarabjit Singh were making headlines. But as soon as Irrfan dodged off these rumors, true and finalized lead actor’s name came out. Singh was the farmer who accidentally went into Pakistan and spent 23 years dreading in jail. His sole moral support during this gloom period was his sister Dalbir Kaur, who will be essayed by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The role of Sarabjit will be played by Randeep Hooda and the movie is being helmed by Omung Kumar. These two talented actors playing brother-sister duo are surely going to make the film worth watching.
- Salman and Shah Rukh’s Movies To Clash
Khan rivalry is a well known element of Hindi film industry, and audiences are going to get a chance to witness it next year on Eid. Salman’s anticipated film Sultan and SRK’s most awaited film Raees are going to give each other a tough fight at box-office. In Sultan, Salman will be seen in an unique role of a wrestler whereas SRK`s is an action-thriller wherein he will be seen romancing Pakistani beauty Mahira Khan. Last time too, this face-off between the two megastars had happened where SRK`s Don beat Salman’s Jaan-E-Mann in 2006, and in 2007, Chak De! India won it at box-office overtaking Salman’s Marigold.
