Garware Motors, the Indian partner of South Korean two-wheeler manufacturer S&T Motors, recently launched the two superbikes Hyosung GT650R and Hyosung ST7 in India.
Hyosung superbikes will cost Rs4.75 lakh for the single-coloured vaiant and Rs 4.90 lakh for the double-coloured one. These fuel efficient bikes have been made for Indian roads.
Hyosung GT650R is highly efficient, 650 cc, 2-Cylinder, V-Twin, 4-Stroke bike mated to a 6-Speed transmission and Hyosung ST7 is a 700 cc bike. The GT650R is capable of 0-100 kmph in 6 seconds flat and can hit 200 kmph with elan.
Earlier, S&T signed an agreement with the Pune-based Garware Motors for their Indian manufacturing operations. Garware Motors is supposed to invest Rs. 20 crore to set up their assembly facility at Wai in Maharashtra. Their aim is to produce 8 – 10 bikes a day in a single shift.
