Amitabh Bachchan to play 102-year-old man in Umesh Shukla’s next

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is never shy away from taking challenged. Many times he has surprised us with unconventional roles, be it Alzheimer patient Debraj Sahai in film Black or as Auro in Paa, Amitabh Bachchan always takes acting to a new height.

Now again he is all set to play the role of 102-year-old man in director Umesh Shukla’s next. The story will be revolved around an old man who quite determined to break the world record of longevity. Produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, the film is probably titled ‘102 Not Out’. The news was  announced by Big B himself on his birthday.

“I am happy to be part of it. It is Umesh Shukla’s story that T-series is making. And we will start shooting for it next year. I can’t talk about the story as it will be like giving out too many details. Paresh Rawal will also be there in the film,” Big B said.

Big B recently met Salman on his set. When asked about tat Bachchan senior said,
“I have met him (Salman) on couple of occasions. They were shooting for their new film in the adjoining sets… met them. I had heard he was not well so asked him about health.”

Amitabh Bachchan also denied reports of doing cameo in ‘Welcome Back’
“No one has informed me about it yet. No one has come to me with it (offer),”Amitabh Bachchan said.
