Formal launch of Amit Chaudhuri’s latest novel “Odysseus Abroad”

Although he is not so bothered about being accessible through his most recent work, Odysseus Abroad, famous novelist Amit Chaudhuri points out that the book includes facts that have been well-researched. His latest work centers around two pivotal characters: Rangamama and Anondo. Amit urges, “Any resemblance to anyone or any incident is purely coincidental.” He has much fictionalized a few real-life characters in this book. Amit Chaudhuri’s Odysseus Abroad has been launched in Kolkata by Sujata Sen, Director (East India), British Council on 25th of November, 2014. Sen thinks that Odysseus Abroad will be considered a classic in the next five years or so. During the event Amit read a few chapters from the book that took almost two years in writing, although he conceived the plot more than ten years ago. Here are a few moments that mark the formal launch of Odysseus Abroad.
