In My View:
Winston Churchill said, “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” Success is socially desirable. Everyone wants to succeed and fulfil their goals of life. But the path towards success isn’t as easy as most of them think it is. There come several adversities and hardships which often deteriorate confidence among people. Nishit Lal, through his latest self-help book, urges readers to Dance to the 7 Tunes inorder to attain success.
When one purchases a motivational book, one expects it to do justice with the genre. Author Nishit Lal begins the book with some interesting questions. These questions make readers contemplate on certain aspects. Slowly and steadily, as readers pursue ahead, they get intrigued by the writing style of the author. Facts, thoughts, views and opinions mentioned in the book are highly agreeable, and in a short span of time, readers will tend to trust the book.
From introduction to every tune, the book proceeds with several examples, stories, quotes and other material which is necessary for a good and beneficial motivational book. Along with success I have tasted failure, not once or twice but ample number of times. A failed attempt often dismantles confidence and leads to depression. A person starts doubting on his or her credentials. But while I was going through this book, I felt as if something inside me was provoking me to think and dream higher.
The author has done thorough research before writing this book and it can be felt when one goes through it. Several examples have been sorted out and placed appropriately. Words and sentences are persuasive and they influence a reader to ponder on aspects of life. Motivating examples strengthen faith in readers. The 7 tunes – Passion, Purpose, Productivity, Perception, Possibilities, Practice and Potential are highly inspiring and revitalizing.
They urge readers to search the hidden talents and accomplish their aims. It encourages readers to change the world with their standards of excellence. In the end of each chapter, the author has taken efforts to point-wise evaluate the benefits of each of this tune, which is again helpful.
Overall: The cover of the book is refreshing and it easily captivates attention. The title too is interesting. The narration is tempting and mesmerizes a reader. At some places, I found difficult to connect with the book but otherwise I couldn’t get out of it.
I am recommending this book to my readers as I have found it out to be an interesting one. I know when it comes to motivational books, people prefer Shiv Khera, Paulo Coelho, Robin Sharma, etc. But readers must go through this book, as it will surely win their hearts!
