Sunanda Pushkar’s viscera report inconclusive

The viscera report of Sunanda Pushkar, the deceased wife of Union Minister Shashi Tharoor, indicating a possible ‘drug poisoning’. However, the report says that the findings are still inconclusive.

“The CFSL report has not been able to give much headway into the probe. It rules out poisoning and hints toward drug poisoning,” PTI quoted a senior police official.

The viscera report in general exposed nature of the poison and the quantity but here as the result has come as inconclusive, police may now seeks opinion from the panel of doctors from AIIMS who had performed an autopsy.

Sunanda Pushkar’s autopsy report had suggested that she had died of drug poisoning due to overdose. The report said it was “sudden and unnatural”.

Sunanda Pushkar’s body was found mysteriously at Leela Palace hotel two months back. Her death shocked everyone as the couple released a joint statement expressing their solidarity just a day before, following a public spat between her and Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar over her alleged affair with Sashi Tharoor.
