A small town in Tamil nadu, Kanchipuram is a sacred Hindu town with ancient temples. Also, known as kanchi this small town was also the capital of Pandavas, Cholas and Vijaynagar Empire. One of the sacred cities of India, Kancipuram is also referred to as the city of thousand temples. Kanchipuram is home to beautiful temples with splendid architectures. Some of the important temples in Kanchipuram are Devarajaswami Temple, Ekambaranath temple, Kanchapeshwarar temple, kaliasanathar Temple, Kamakshi Amman temple, Kanchi Kamakshi temple and Vaikunda Perumal Temple. This small town is also popular for its handmade silk sarees.
