Founded by Rao Bika, Bikaner is an old city with sandstone haveli’s memorial and the famous Junagarh Fort. Some of the other must-visits forts and palaces in Bikaner are Karan Mahal, Dungar Niwas, Anup Mahal and Phool Mahal ki Sal. Along the rocky scrubland, Bikaner, an old city is surrounded by a long wall which intermittently breaks way to five huge gates. Many tourists come to Bikaner to pay homage to Kauni Mata Temple in Deshnok at Kolayat. This old city is popular for its exquisite handicrafts which include jewelry, poetry and handcrafted windows called Jharokas. Forts & Palaces – Bikaner is a royal treat for everyone.
