The launch of the much awaited HTC One (M8), the latest member of the HTC One range, is sure an eye candy that has started stealing the tech-savvies currently. HTC One original has given users a totally new experience, and has made a difference in the look with its metal body cover that stays apart from its competitors with plastic body. HTC One (M8) too has been figured out with a metal cover that gives a much more refined look than the original model.
The HTC One original had a flat design while the M8 has been designed with curved edges that give it a much catchier look than the original. At a single glance, you might not be able to find any visible changes from the original HTC and the latest model M8. But on closer observation, you will notice that the new HTC has a larger body, all because of its big display screen which is 5 inches.
The peculiar feature of HTC One (M8) is that it does not have any hardware capacitive keys standing right at the front. You simply find them on screen. The Aluminum chassis has white polycarbonate inserts at the back side and chambered edges right at the front side. Towards the left edge of the phone, you will find the tray for sum card. Towards the right edge, you will find the volume keys as well as the micro SD card tray.
The new feature that HTC One (M8) features is the external storage slot that is not present in the older version. The older version of HTC makes use of the phone storage alone as in iPhones. But this new move towards external storage is totally welcomed by all with great applause.
At the back of the phone, you will find two cameras instead of one. This is a new feature named Duo Camera Set up. Similar to the iPhone 5S, you will find the ultra pixel camera lens accompanied by an LED flash.
At the top edge of HTC One (M8), you will find the Power or the Screen Lock button. It has an infrared blaster. The bottom edge is equipped with the Micro USB port as well as a 3.5 mm headset jack. The extremely sleek design of this very Smartphone makes it fit for single hand use. Moreover, the Gorilla Glass 3 protection makes it secure from scratches.
Though M8 feels heavier while using, the design of the phone makes it extremely comfortable to catch hold of. The metal body of the phone has antennas built in the body, and it avoids the blockage of signals. So if you are on for a great Smartphone that simply looks better than the plastic bodied Galaxy range or the Nexus range, there is no doubt M8 would fit into that place.
HTC One M8 has currently released in the US and UK. This Smartphone is expected to be released in India during the month of April this year.
