ZTE has launched a new smartphone dubbed as the Blade Qlux 4G, it’s priced at 4,999 and claims to be the cheapest 4G LTE phone in India. It’ll go on sale on 16th June exclusively on Amazon.
The Blade Qlux sports a 4.5 inch FWVGA (854 X 400) display panel with in-panel switching (IPS) technology, there is no protective glass to save the handset from scratches and falls. Under the hood it runs a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core Mediatek (MTK6732M) processor chipset supported by 1 GB of RAM. There is 8 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via the help of a Micro SD card.
For the photography enthusiasts there is a 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front shooter which would be more than enough to keep the selfie lovers happy. The phone is powerd by a 2,200 mAh battery which ZTE claims can give you up to 12 hours of talk time.
Connectivity options include the usual dual-sims, WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE ,3G etc. The Qlux also offers FM radio, On the software front the phone runs on android 4.4 kitkat and is upgradable to android lollipop.
Although the phone is priced quite well it’ll face stiff competition from the likes of the Redmi 2 and the Yu Yuphoria.
