Along with the Yuphoria, Yu has also launched a product line up targeted at fitness enthusiasts. The YuFit is a fitness tracker that tracks all your activities throughout the day. Xiaomi recently launched the Mi band too which is somewhat similar to the YuFit band.
The YuFit Band is priced at Rs. 999 and will be available from next month on the company’s official website, however the registrations for the purchase are open. The fitness band the first calorie counter for Indian foods and keeps a tab on weight and fitness tracking. The band is Integrated with the HealthifyMe app which is a Bangalore based calorie counting and fitness app which tracks Indian foods quite accurately. The HealthifyMe app can also be used as a standalone app to measure the daily activity and it works quite brilliantly. The band tracks steps, sleep pattern, calories burnt and distance walked. The band also comes with a OLED display which notifies one when they have received a call or a message, it also helps in locating your phone.
The band is also proficient at tracking Indian foods a first of its kind in the fitness segment and the company is also giving free personal trainer to the first 1,000 people who buy the band. HealthifyMe app recently received an investment from Micromax.
No major other major details are known about the band as of yet.
