Panasonic, a well-known brand in the telecom sector has launched a new mobile device namely the Eluga L 4G which is priced at Rs. 12,999 and will be available at major online as well as brick and mortar stores.
As far as the specifications go the phone flaunts a 5 inch 720p HD display with corning’s gorilla glass technology. On the inside it houses a Snapdragon 410 64 bit quad-core processor chipset clocked at 1.2 GHz with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB with the help of a Micro SD card. As of the cameras it has a 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front shooter, a 2000 mAh battery is provided with the handset which is quite less considering what the competition is offering. The phone runs on android kitkat 4.4 out of the box and has a custom UI skin called the Fit Home UI.
The phone is just 6.1 MM thick and has an all glass body, it comes in only one color which is the radiant blue and looks quite elegant. The connectivity options are as usual with Dual sim (4G+3G), WiFi, Bluetooth etc.
Specs wise the Eluga L 4G competes with the Xaiomi Redmi 2 which is prices at just 6,999 and still offers better specs than the Eluga L. Price wise the direct competition is the ZenFone 2 (ZE550ML) and the Mi4i both of which fare far better than the Eluga L in specifications as well as performance.
