The Korean manufacturer LG has made the new F-series smartphones official on Thursday ahead of 2013 mobile technology show in Barcelona. Today LG unveils Optimus F5 and Optimus F7 Android phones.
Optimus F5 & Optimus F7 will go on sale in the second quarter in selected markets.
“With adoption of LTE expected to explode in 2013, we are sending a clear message to consumers with the Optimus F Series that LTE isn’t just for heavy content users and techies anymore. It’s for everyone,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG.
Both the smartphone support 4G LTE connectivity.
LG Optimus F5: It is powered by Android 4.1.2, 1.2GHz dual-core processor. It comes with 4.3-inch IPS display. It runs on 2150 mAh battery. It has 8GB of internal storage, 1GB RAM and microSD card slot up to 32 GB. It has 5 Megapixel auto-focus camera.
LG Optimus F7: The smartphone powered by Android 4.1.2, 1.5GHz dual-core processor. It comes with 4.7-inch True HD IPS display and it runs on 2540 mAh battery. It has 8 GB of internal storage, 2GB RAM and microSD card slot up to 32 GB. LG Optimus F7 has 8 megapixel auto-focus rear camera.
Both the smartphone has upgraded QSlide and Live Zooming features.
“The upgraded QSlide allows users to open two apps at the same time, both in full screen mode. Users can change the size, position and transparency of QSlide apps according to their preferences,” LG said in a press release.
