Lenovo recently launched the Vibe X3 in the India markets. The phone is targeted for audiophile to be precise but towards multimedia enthusiasts overall. The main USP of the phone is its high end audio capabilities.
As of the specifications go, the Vibe X3 houses a 5.5 inch Full HD (1080p) display panel protected by corning’s gorilla glass 3. Under the hood a Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor chipset runs the show coupled with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The phone has a hybrid sim card slot which lets the customer select whether they want to use 2 sim cards or a sim card and a memory card. The memory can be expanded upto 128 GB.
There are 3 Texas Instruments amplifiers with Turbo HI-FI sound enhancements mode which offers great audio output with the need of a DAC (digital analogue converter) there is also a Cirrus logic codec present to cancel noise. The phone also has a Dolby Atmos surround sound certification the vibe X3 also offers a VR Mode to get the full VR experience using the ANT VR headset.
For the shutterbugs the Vibe X3 houses a 21 MP Sony senor at the rear with PDAF and an 8 MP one at the front of the device. There are various options like 4K video, Slo-Mo etc. there is a finger print sensor placed below the rear camera module
There is a 3,500 mAh battery to power the device which has been put with Qualcomm’s quick charge 2.0. The usual connectivity options are present and the X3 runs Android lollipop 5.1 under Lenovo’s own Vibe UI.
The phone is priced at ?19,999 and is an Amazon exclusive with no flash sales to deal with it’s a good phone in the segment.
