The Desire 826 unveiled by HTC at the CES 2015 in Las Vegas has finally come to India, the phone is a successor to the previous handset by HTC namely the desire 820. The desire 826 is in a lot of ways identical to the desire 820 in aspects such as design and placement of the speakers etc.
The desire 826 has an octa-core snapdragon processor paired with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 128 GB with the help of a Micro-SD card. The phone comes with a 13 Mega Pixel rear and a 4 Ultra Pixel front camera, the Ultra Pixel is essentially a technology that allows more light to pass through the shutter hence giving clearer and crisper pictures.
HTC has provided the Boom Sound front facing speakers with Dolby’s sound technology. The phone has a 5.5 inch Full HD display, which was dearly missed in its predecessor. The phone comes loaded with android lollipop with HTC’s own Sense UI on top of it. The phone has dual SIM card slots, weighs just 155 grams and is 7.74 MM thick. The phone is 4G enabled and has the usual connectivity options like Bluetooth, WIFI, GPS, etc. The phone is priced for Rs 25,990/-
