Honor launches the 4C with octa-core chipset

Honor the online only subsidiary of Huawei has launched the Honor 4C which will be exclusively available at Flipkart and is priced at Rs 8,999.

Talking about the specifications, the front of the phone boasts of a 5 inch 720p HD display. The inside houses the Octa-Core Kirin chipset clocked at 1.2 GHz, Kirin is a part of HiSilicon which is an in house brand owned wholly by Huawei. There is 2 GB of RAM with 8 GB of internal storage which is expandable via the help of a micro SD cardupto 32GB . There is a 2550 mAh battery to power the phone.

For the Photography enthusiasts Honor has provided a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, the sensor used is a BSI sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The front camera boasts of a 5 MP resolution with a 22mm Wide-angle lens. The phone runs on android 4.4 kitkat with the Emotion UI 3.0 on top of it, the Emotion UI is a custom skin applied over stock android to change the look and feel of the UI.

On the connectivity front the phone offers dual sim capabilities with 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth as well as other usual connectivity options. At this price point the Honor 4C will be competing against the likes of Micromax YU Yureka, The Xiaomi Redmi note 4G and the Lenovo A7000. The Honor 4C comes in Black, White, Gold, Blue and Pink colors.
