Recently in San Francisco at an event Apple launched the iPhone 6s Plus along with iPhone 6s, iPad pro, iPad mini 4 Apple TV and a host of other products.
The main difference between the iPhone 6s and the 6s plus is the screen size which now comes in at 5.5 inches along with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, screen is protected by Ion-strengthened glass along with oleophobic coating.
The rest of the specifications remain exactly the same as the iPhone 6s which we reported recently, to recall the specifications it runs on the new A9 processor chipset along with 2 GB of RAM. The M9 Motion chipset is present to compliment the A9 processor chipset, the motion chipset is always on.
The iPhone 6s plus also comes with the same 3D Touch we have previously seen on the 6s, the camera too remain the same at 12 MP rear and 5 MP front. The rear of the phone has a true tone dual LED flash while the front boasts of the Retina flash option which essentially illuminates the screen to give more light in the picture.
The 6s plus 16GB is priced at 749$ while the 64 GB and the 128 GB are priced at 849$ and 949$ respectively.
The 6s plus too will be available in Silver, space gray, gold, rose gold color options and will run iOS 9 out of the box.
