With his latest flick, Fan, already doing good at the box office, it seems all the promotion, coupled with his huge fan following, has paid off well.
2. Kangana Ranuat and Hrithik Roshan have been in the news for weeks together, and it does not look as if it is going to end anytime soon. What started out as a small remark soon grew into a legal dispute, with both the parties accusing each other for various things. This week, the emails exchanged between them were leaked, which made revelations about a lot of things. Kangana’s lawyer made a statement saying the emails were fabricated. Well, we hope things get better.

1. Udta Punjab: The film starring Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan had already made a strong impact with its poster. Soon to follow was the trailer and it seems the movie is highly promising.
2. Sultan: Back on the screen after Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Salman Khan takes on an entirely different character and we could not have been more exciting. The trailer is absolutely raw and engaging. What’s more? Salman Khan sharing space with superstar Anushka Sharma! Now that’s a pairing to look up to.
3. Sarbjit: This film, starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda, revolves around the real life story of Sarbjit Singh. The impact made by the poster was strong and it was only taken a step ahead by the trailer launch.

The small screen was not to be left behind and was sure to make the headlines in various ways. Here are the top news makers from the tellyland:
1. Pratyusha Banerjee: Many things came into limelight into the case of late actoress Pratyusha Banerjee, who committed suicide early this month. It was reported this week that she was pregnant, but had aborted the baby. Her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh, however, claimed that they had mutually decided on abortion. The police are still investigating into this case.
2. Drashti Dhami: The popular TV actress, who is currently starring as Rani Gayatri in the show ‘Ek tha Raja, Ek thi Raani’, has confirmed quitting the show. The show is said to take an eight year leap in the month of May, post which Drashti will be quitting the show.
