Syrian Defence Minister Daoud Rajha Killed

In a deadly suicide attack by rebellion group, Syrian defence minister General Daoud Rajha died in Damascus today. It makes Syria crisis deepening and more critical.

The attack happened when there was a meeting going on between the ministers and security officials at the National Security headquarters in Rawda. Ranjha died on the spot. Several other officials including interior minister were also wounded in the blast.

Since the March 2011 revolt, the fighting continues between the Syrian government and the rebel groups, so far it took more than 17,000 lives, mostly ordinary men, women and children.
