Serena Williams won her third consecutive US Open title by beating good friend Caroline Wozniacki 6-3, 6-3 in Flushing Meadows on Sunday.
Caroline Wozniacki could not match with Serena’s power play and the match only lasted 75 minutes.
With her win, she also equaled Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova’s record of 18 major singles titles.
Work number one Williams also snatched record $4 million prize money.
