Serena Williams wins China Open

World number 1 Serena Williams won the China open ladies singles title beating world number 8 Jelena Jankovic in straight set 6-2,6-2 in Beijing in China on Sunday.

With this win the 32-year-old Serena completed 10th title of this season as well as she won 73 matches out of 77 matches she played in this year. Along with China Open she has now won the French Open, US Open and seven other major ATP tournaments of this year.

Serena Williams earlier stormed into the final, trashing 2011 champion Agnieszka Radwanska 6-2, 6-2 on Saturday. Jankovic reached the final beating Petra Kvitova in three sets 6-7, 6-1,6-1.
