Sachin and Yuvraj To Miss ODI Series Against England! Sehwag, Rohit Sharma Doubtful

Dhoni’s nightmare continues. After disastrous performance by Indian team in England tour, Dhoni this time also not getting his full team in revenge home series against England starting from October 14.

Many important players are either unavailable or doubtful for the five-match one-day series. Master-blaster Sachin Tendulkar who is suffering from toe injury has still not completely recovered. While Yuvraj Singh, who fractured his index finger on the tour, also has a ligament tear on his finger which will take some more time to heal.

Opener Virender Sehwag and Middle-order batsman Rohit Sharma’s fitness are too under severe question and likely to miss the ODI series.

The selectors are under lots of pressure to pick the ‘fit’ team and not to repeat the same mistake what they did earlier in England tour. The selectors will meet on September 29 to select the team for ODI series and it is speculated that Ajinkya Rahane and Manoj Tiwary’s name will come up for discussion.

Gautam Gambhir will come back to the squad that is for certain. What will be Harbhajan Singh’s fate that generating lots of query in fan’s mind.  Ashish Nehra likely ttbe picked in the absence of Zaheer Khan and Munaf Patel. New faces like Varun Aaron and Umesh Yadav may get the chance.
