Real Madrid wins Champions League title

Destroying Atletico Madrid’s defense in the extra time, Real Madrid clinched the UEFA Champions League final with a fierce 4-1win on Saturday night.  It was also Real coach Carlo Ancelotti’s three Champions League title. Earlier he has won twice with AC Milan as coach.

Gareth Bale justified $130 million transfer fee  as he scored the winner to lead Real Madrid to win record 10th European title.

Marcelo’s bullet shot in the 118th ensure the win, while Cristiano Ronaldo’s penalty at the end of the match only seal the deal.

Ronaldo was non-active most part of the match. Atletico’s defenders were successful to keep Ronaldo out of shape in the 90 minutes with some tough tackles.

Diego Godin’s header had put Atletico ahead in the 35th-minute. Sergio Ramos equalized the score. Atletico is disappointed to miss the chance to win its first European title.
