PSG set to bid for Yohan Cabaye

Paris Saint Germain is all set to bid for Yohan Cabaye who is currently having a great time in Newcastle United. PSG, current Ligue 1 champions, is looking forward to bring this midfielder in order to make amends for their unsuccessful attempt to bring Juan Mata from Chelsea in the upcoming transfer window opening in January.

Manager Laura Blanc has set his target on Cabaye in order to strengthen his current squad which is looking good for a good finish in the UEFA Champions League. For Blanc signing Cabaye could be a significant step in bolstering the side rather than bringing in Juan Mata since Mata has already featured in Chelsea outfit in the ongoing European tournament. That would have prevented Mata playing as a PSG player in this edition of the tournament.

However the road is not clear for French side as the Arsenal and Liverpool are also in the race of signing this Newcastle midfielder. If this transfer gets shape this could well be great opportunity for Cabaye to put up some good show in Europe’s biggest club tournament.
