Bollywood Superstar and Kolkata Knight Riders owner Shah Rukh Khan will not be able to attend KKR’s IPL match against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on May 7 due to the ban against him imposed by MCA last year.
Mumbai Cricket Association had banned SRK Last year from entry to its stadiums for 5 years following a brawl with security staff and officials after KKR’s victory over MI.
“There is a clause in the agreement we are to sign with Mumbai Indians on Monday that any person who has been debarred by the association cannot enter our premises. It’s not specific to any single person,” MCA Joint Secretary Nitin Dalal said.
“We had informed everyone concerned, including IPL authorities and team owners, about the ban after the decision had been taken,” Dalal added.
