Magnus Carlsen has a scary escape

Defending World Champion Vishwanathan Anand gave a real scare to his Norwegian challenger Magnus Carlsen on the third game of the ongoing World Chess Championship before signing the truce after a long battle.

The third game of the ongoing Championship also ended in a draw like the first two but unlike the previous two it turned out to be an exciting one. The game lasted for 51 moves as the battle really spiced up during the middle phase when Anand began to establish a firm control over the match with some spot-on maneuvering of his troops. However, the world no. 1 from Norway, Magnus Carlsen also incurred some extra-ordinary counter-attacking moves which made the encounter a real exciting one.

Carlsen after the game got over said, “I was worse, and then I probably made it more worse. I missed some simple things in the middle game, may be I had enough play and it was not a disaster but it was scary.”

After the third draw on the trot the players have got 1.5 points each. On the fourth game coming up on tomorrow Anand will be playing with white. It will really give him a real opportunity to gain an upperhand in this World championship.
