India’s biggest hope from the Boxing arena Vijender Singh knocked out from London Olympics. Vijender lose to Uzbek boxer Abbas Atoev 17-13.
In Beijing Olympic Vijender won bronze medal and hope to repeat his performance here too. The dream crashed when he lost in a 75kg quarterfinal match late on Monday night.
In the first round both boxers csored 3-3, but in the second round Atoeb took and take 2 point lead at 7-5. Vijender never able to cover the gap since then although he tried his best.
