2013 IPL has seen some exciting finishes and quality cricket. Not only the batsmen but the bowlers have shown tremendous efforts and already registered two hatricks and record breaking century.
However, people would remember this season’s IPL for non-cricketing reasons. A nasty spot-fixing scam was reveled by Delhi police. 3 Rajasthan Royals players including Indian national team player S Sreesanth were arrested for spo-fixing. CSK CEO Gurunath Meiyappan, who happens to be the son-in-law of BCCI chief N. Srinivasan, was also arrested for betting. Police arrested several bookies and established Bollywood links. Vindoo Dara Singh, a Bollywood minor actor was also arrested in the spot-fixing scam.
