Team India has started off their one-day international series against West Indies with a disappointing loss. The loss in the opening match at the home
surface against West Indies team, which was battling with their board, was absolutely unexpected.
West Indies beat India by 124 runs and took a 1-0 lead in the five-match One-Day International series. The carribeans set a target of 322 as Marlon Samuels slammed 126* at the Nehru Stadium in Kochi. India shrank down at 197 in just 41 overs with only Shikhar Dhawan scored a decent run (68).
The next match will be held at Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi on 11 October.
