Champions Trophy squad announced: Yuvraj, Gambhir dropped

BCCI has announced India’s ODI squad for the upcoming Champions Trophy scheduled to be held in England from next month.

The selection committee headed by Sandip Patil picked medium pacer Vinay Kumar and wicketkeeper cum batsman Dinesh Karthik in the team.

KKR captain Gautam Gambhir and Yuvraj Singh were dropped from the 15-member team.

Shikhar Dhawan, Murali Vijay, Umesh Yadav and Irfan Pathan were recalled to the team.

BCCI also picked 21 probable players for the tri-series in the West Indies.

MS Dhone (capt), Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, Dinesh Karthik, Murali Vijay, Rohit Sharma, avindra Jadeja, R Ashwin, Irfan Pathajn, Umesh Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ishant Sharma, Amit Mishra, Vinay Kumar.

Tri-series probable squad:
