The BCCI has rejected PCB’s proposal once again for arranging a bilateral series between India and Pakistan.
As the tension mounted across LOC after two Indian soldiers were brutally killed by Pakistani soldiers, BCCI declined PCB’s plea stating present situation is not appropriate for resuming the cricket ties between these two nations.
PCB had sent a proposal to the BCCI for a bilateral series titled Gandhi-Jinnah series which would be played on a regular basis either in India or in neutral venue.
The last time these two nations played in bilateral series was in 2007.
