Star footballer Lionel Messi wins his second ‘Golden Boot’ for scoring the maximum number of goals in European premier leagues last season. Barcelona forward Messi beats Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo only by four goals. Argentine Messi scored 50 goals for Barcelona in Spanish league (La liga) last season.
Messi dedicated the award to his teammates, “It is a prize for scoring goals, but without my teammates I couldn’t have scored them, I share this award with them as I always do.” He said.
In 2010 Messi won his first Golden Boot for his 34 goals which helped his team Barcelona to win the Spanish football league.
“My goal is to win as many titles as I can before the end of my career. I have always been like that. Then I can look back at what I have won and take stock of my career,” Messi said.
