After meeting the top officials of Finmeccanica group, the parent company of AgustaWestland, CBI got assurance of full co-operation.
Finmeccanica has promised CBI that they will help the ongoing investigation on Rs.4000 crore VVIP chopper scam.
The Italian company will hand over their preliminary reports to CBI once their board meeting completes. The report is expected to help CBI to find out the source of alleged kickbacks in the VVIP helicopter deal.
CBI also hired two Milan based law firms, Chiomenti and Grippo, to complete all the legalities for getting documents at the earliest.
