Vasundhara Raje becomes Rajasthan BJP chief

The former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje becomes the President of the BJP’s Rajasthan unit and her dream to become the main lead in the upcoming assembly poll later this year appears to come true.

BJP President Rajnath Singh announced Vasundhara Raje’s name officially on Monday.

Last week Vasundhara met Gujarat CM Narendra Modi and discussed her upcoming role in the party. In Delhi Rajnath Singh met Lok Sabha leader Sushma Swaraj and conveyed Raje’s demand.  Arun Jaitley also backed Raje .

Gulab Chand Kataria, the current president of Rajasthan BJP, had sent his resignation to Singh and if the rumours are true then BJP is going to make Kataria, the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajasthan assembly.
