Uma Bharti takes a dig at Modi

Senior BJP leader Uma Bharti has said that former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was far better orator than BJP’s current Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.

Uma said that although Modi’s rallies drew huge crowds but his speeches are not better than Atal Bihari Vajyapee.

“Vajpayee is the best orator BJP has ever had. When you compare Modi to Vajpayee, you realise Modi is not as good. But Modi’s rallies still see a huge turnout as people want to show their support,” Bharti said at a party meet in Jhansi ahead of 2014 Lok Sabha polls.

“Have you heard Modi making speeches? Atal Bihari Vajpayee is the best orator of our party. Nobody equals his oratory skills in Indian politics,” she said.
