Before Thursday’s two mega election rallies in Chhattisgarh, the security forces have recovered two IEDs of 50 kg in Dantewada region where Congress President Sonia Gandhi and BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi are set to address people.
The joint action force of CRPF and Chhattisgarh police have defused the IEDs weighting 25 kg each, found on the highway between Dronapal to Jagargunda in Sukma district earlier this morning.
Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi is also set to address few rallies in Chhattisgarh on Friday.
The Home Ministry had earlier issued alerts on possible Naxal attack in the state during the high profile election rallies.
