UPA Chairperson and Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Thursday targeted Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh in her rally in Bastar region ahead of state assembly election.
Accusing the BJP government of “only talk big things”, and credited Congress for “carrying out the real work” and “development with pro-poor face”.
“While the BJP wants to pit one brother against another, we want to take everybody along and connect people,” Sonia Gandhi said.
She urged voters vote for Congress as it “sacrifices and record of contribution towards the country’s development”.
“So many people were killed in the Naxal violence. My colleagues in Congress sacrificed their life. We are today feeling their absence in a big way today,” she said.
