Shiv Sena attacks Arvind Kejriwal

Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray has launched fierce attack on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday calling him “item girl, madari, joker”.

In the editorial of party’s mouthpiece “Saamana”, Thackeray said although Indian politics has seen many “jokers” but Arvind Kejriwal tops the chart.

“However, all of them are left way behind by this mob of mad people, led by Arvind Kejriwal, who have stormed the country’s political scene,” Thackeray wrote.

“The antics of AAP and its leaders, including Kejriwal, have shamed every person calling themselves politicians,” he added.

Uddhav Thackeray slammed Kejriwal for his much criticised dharna in New Delhi.

“With such antics, Kejriwal wants to spread chaos around the country; It appears that there could be the involvement of some disruptive forces behind the agitation,” he said.

Echoing author Chetan Bhagat’s recent comments on Kejriwal drama, Thackeray said AAP indeed an item girl in politics and Rakhi Sawant can govern better than Arvind Kejriwal.

“Shinde called (Kejriwal) mad, Bhagat says AAP is like an item girl seeking attention in politics, NCP called AAP a snake; This mob of mad people, led by the monkey-minder (‘Madari’) Kejriwal will not last long,” Thackeray said.

“The people of Delhi ave voted Kejriwal to power, he should work for the people and fulfil the promises he made to them and not come on the streets and interfere in law. What he is doing is not right…If he now talks about sweeping out corruption with his ‘broom’ (Aam Aadmi Party symbol), he would be considered a hypocrite,” Thackeray added.
